But what really impressed me last night were the Raiders receivers and McFadden. They really have the makings of a potent, high-powered offense. I'm not stating that they will be either of those things, but the talent sure looks to be there.
Oh, I've been sold on McFadden since he came into the league...he's gonna be a beast. I just question if Russell has the mental talent/commitment to be a good QB in this league.

A dude that big; that is fairly mobile really needs to slim down...fast. He's gonna have a litany of injury issues if he keep carrying all that extra weight around. You'd think if you were the No. 1 draft pick you'd respect that position enough to lay off the ****ing cheeseburgers and come into preseason in great shape.

totally agree about the backups....will be interesting to see the pressure to win now, because they can with Garcia, but Russell is going to be a bumpy ride imo

Shit, you know with Al it's win now; all the ****ing time.

Garcia is a legit QB that never got his proper dues. If Fatmarcus struggles, his ass will be on the bench in a second...and I'm honestly a little worried about having to play Garcia.

Hey I did not see the game and I am digging the love. However from what I read Bruce Gradkowski and Charlie Frye combined to complete 16 of 28 passes for 241 yards and two touchdowns. No. 2 quarterback Jeff Garcia didn't play because of injury.

You know what, you're right.

I saw #5 out there in the early 2nd quarter and automatically assumed it was Garcia. It was Gradowski. Yet when the announcers called him Gradowski after the 49 yard reception to Miller that put them on the 1, I didn't put two and two together.

Duh.

To be fair, that experiment hasn't fared too well in the past for the Chiefs.

Here's a prediction:

If Cassel throws a touchdown to Bowe, I anticipate hearing something utterly ridiculous along the lines of say...oh, I don't know:

"ROR you ****ing moron! Look at that! Look at that! The number 7 belongs to KC now, and the Second Coming of Randy Moss in the mother****ing house! "WHOO-HOO"!!!!

Here's something that's NOT a prediction, because it has already happened. Today:

A 93-yard drive ending in a touchdown that included a beeeea-utiful 50-yard pass.

Welcome to the NFL kid; go make ROR proud!

Cassel will be fine. He'll score at least two TD's in his time on the field. Don't worry about Cassel. He'll be fine because he probably WON'T being throwing to Bowe.
