This website has a chart that shows Chiefs fans accounting for roughly 2.1% of all NFL fans.

This website shows that 57% of Americans are NFL fans.

The CDC says we have about 2.8 million deaths per year.

There are 221 days between the Super Bowl and the first game of the 2020 season, which is about 60% of a year.

Throw all those numbers into a calculator and you get about 20,000 of us whose last experience as a fan will be Super Bowl LIV. Regardless of what happens, there are people who’ve waited their whole lives to see the Lamar Hunt trophy come home, and those of us here today were blessed to see it. My heart goes out to all of you that shared stories about your families and friends who brought you into Chiefs Kingdom that aren’t around anymore. I’m thankful to be a part of the greatest fan base out there.
