I’ve been around a lot of people with grim prognosis and or futures. One thing that they all had in common was the ones who “managed” to keep their dignity, make their family feel as good as possible, under the circumstances, was to fight that shit with everything you have.

I don’t know how close you were to Patteeu on here, but thats how he went out. Fighting tooth and nail against that shit. I don’t know if I would have had his courage, I’d like to think so but probably not. Just my anecdotal thoughts.

Good on you man, seriously. Makes me feel like a worthless pos though. I really need to step my game up in terms of helping others. I give a decent amount to some charities and any church I attend, but nothing hands-on like you do really. Need to straighten that out before it's too late.

Not sure what you believe or don't believe, but seems like you're racking up some major points with the Big Guy. Not to insinuate that that's why you do it. Good work Michael, you obviously have a big heart and are teaching your son some great life lessons.

Find a random person tomorrow and do something nice. Could be lunch, tank of gas, or any number of things.

The catch is....we always make people promise not to put shit on Facebook or other media. The point is to be nice and not be recognized

Agree about the no recognition part. Never entered my mind and wouldn't want it, just really need to be better at helping random people who could use a little boost.
