Only when I have no other choice. It's painful hanging around with the masses at Walmart. I always feel like I need a shower by the time I leave.

Yes, if you sneak in early in the morning on the weekend it's not bad at all. Some of their equate/great value knockoff stuff is a huge savings. Due to my shitty skin there is this damn lotion I have to use and their knock off version is half the cost.

This does not work with Costco. ****ing place is packed the second it opens

Therein lies the problem for small-town America. If there ARE other options (many times there's not) they won't be around for long - Wal Mart invariably destroys the local businesses.

They have such a great business plan:

- Go into mid sized American town
- Destroy local businesses with decent paying job
- Hire the people who lost their jobs
- Pay non livable wage
- Only option is to shop at Walmart and you can't afford to shop elsewhere on Walmart salary

The online grocery pickup they have is pretty great. I don't go inside anymore.

I try not to only because of the time it takes. The stores are big so finding what you need can take a few extra minutes. + The lines, and the walk from the parking lot. You can spend an extra 10-20 minutes their simply because of the size/distance compared to a local market.

But, it is cheaper. I use local privately owned stores knowing that I pay more but at least i don't lose so much time.

Some things however are just required to visit Wal-Mart for.

I'm convinced there's an entire sub species of human that only exists within the walls of the DMV and Wal Mart. You don't see those apex specimens anywhere else.

I have a good friend that is a license examiner for the DMV. I can attest there is definite proof in this statement.

Many times per month. It's the closest store where I can get several things in one stop. I hate shopping and the assholes at other stores are no different than Walmart.
