I was listening to 610 this AM and they had a CM interview on from yesterday and basically. The host was grilling him about how soon/IF.

Basically CM was like, he hasn't been cleared to have contact/practice. He highly doubts he'll be cleared to even practice within the next 2 games. He's been off since November 10th and you can't just practice and go play. You have to fall, you have to get bumped and do all kinds of things before you can even think about playing.

Basically he gave no time table but to think about what actually has to happen before he can really step foot on the court in a game.

He's been doing non-contact practice stuff over the past week. May have been cleared for contact yesterday, may be next week. His playing will probably lag a week behind being cleared for contact.

Just seen where he has another Dr appointment next Thursday with his doc in dallas. That will be the BIG appointment. If he gets cleared then I’d say he plays the last game or two of the regular season

I get it takes time to get in "game shape." But, this isn't Darrell Revis. Dude is young and has been practicing, and has insane talent. Having him shake off a little game rust while easing him back into the rotation would work just fine.
