Yeah, so I saw a lot of movies this weekend.

Elizabeth: The Golden Age - Mediocre, at best. Slow and dragged on. Shorten it to 2 hours and it's golden. It's not, so it fails.

Michael Clayton - Amazing. Everything about it is awesome. However, it's VERY complex and mind bending. You have to think, so be prepared. I still feel like I'm missing key details of exactly what happened. Gotta see it again.

Across the Universe - Perfect is one word that comes to mind. It just works. And, contrary to many people I bet, the movie is best viewed sober. Trust me.

One thing that Transformers did extremely well was protraying the military as a smart, lethal force instead of the villains or bumblers that you see in other sci-fi movies. One of my absolute favorite scenes was calling in the A-10's and artillery strikes during the village battle. Just found this article.

I just recently watched Zack and Miri Make a Porno.

Pretty funny flick. However, I'm starting to think Rogan is going to end up like Stiller. Meaning, he's going to be playing alot of the same character in his movies.

I guess that's not necessarily a bad thing - seeing as I like some of Stiller's movies.

Clint Eastwood plays a mean man in Gran Torino, but it's hard not to laugh. I loved the barbershop scenes. I wanted to see him kick that gang's ass a little more.

I would've loved to be that guy alongside Scarlett Johansson in the pool scene of that new chick flick

I bought Men of Honor at Circuit City's liquidation sale for $6. Damn good investment.

Kevin Smith( aka Silent Bob )wrote and directed such movies as "Mallrats", "Chasing Amy", "Clerks", and of course, "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back".

These college lectures are as funny as any stand up I've ever seen( more so in many cases ), and are also an interesting insight in to the business side of the movie industry.

Went to see Frost/Nixon this weekend and it was pretty damn good. Frank Langella was definitly deserving of the nomination and overall it was a very well put together historical fick. The supporting cast also included a few of my favorites with Sam Rockwell and Oliver Platt but Kevin Bacon had a few great scenes as well. It probably helped for my entertainment purposes that I was largely unfamiliar with the events surrounding the final bits of the interviews.

I like David Lynch films, but that wasn't even his best one. Although from the 80's, 'Blue Velvet' was probably his best. From the 90's I liked 'Mullholland Drive' the best. The movie after 'Lost Highway', the 'Straight Story' was good, and was a pretty normal film. 'Twin Peaks' the movie started out great, but then went down hill.

I can understand how some wouldnt dig Lynch but IMO Lost Highway is the best film of the 90s. Perfect, scary and provoking in everyway.

I think Borders is the only place that carries it . If you havent seen it check it out.

I just watched Tombstone for the first time on Sunday.

It was a good movie, but all of my friends have always hyped it up so much that I didn't feel it was as great as they said it would be.

Good flick though.
