Lolz, how do you figure? If not for the suspension, he would've gone over 1,200 yds, and at a minimum 6 TDs. With four of the worst QBs in the league throwing to him, and no other WR in the building to take any attention off of him.

Six 1,000+ yard seasons, while carrying no less than 14 starting QBs in his career, not one of which was even Top-10. His first 1,000+ yard season, his QBs were Ryan Fitzpatrick, Case Keenum, Ryan Mallet, and Tom Savage.

There's a strong argument that no Elite WR has played with a worse roster of QBs in history.

Kinnard and Moore were rookies. I'm not sure we can say much about them yet. Without them, the n is so small, I'm not sure we can say much about Beach's skill in drafting those positions, other than Hardman has been an important cog in winning us two Super Bowls.

Why was he suspended? That doesn't seem like a positive.

Veach's biggest whiffs have without question been at WR in the draft. Skyy has a chance to change that narrative.

'PED.' Apparently something called 'Osterlin'(sp?). Never heard of it. Report said that he had 0.1% of it in his system. I'm not a doctor, but that seems awfully low if he was trying to use it for recovery or whatever.

Anyone know what this stuff does?

EDIT: It was ostarine, according to Dhop.

Excerpt from interview about the suspension:

“It wasn’t on me. I’m pretty much a naturopathic person. What it was is it’s called ostarine,” Hopkins said, via Jake Anderson of Arizona Sports 98.7 FM. “There was 0.1 percent found in my system. If you know what that is, you know it’s contamination — not something directly taken.

“I don’t take any supplements, I’ve never taken supplements. I barely take vitamins. So for something like that to happen to me, obviously I was shocked but my team and I, we’re still trying to figure out what’s going on.”

That is consistent with what Hopkins’ brand manager said after the suspension was announced in May. He said everyone who works with Hopkins was stunned by the failed PED test."

That last sentence was in the article. Not my words/conclusions.

DHop's QBs in 2022 were Kyler Murray, Colt MCCoy, and Trace McSorley. Kyler finished the season ranked no higher than 19th?

No clue. DHop doesn't even have a lot of commercial/marketing stuff going on that I'm aware of. Only thing I know about is that he started a breakfast cereal brand. I think the proceeds go to vets or domestic violence victims or something like that.

Ok, I'm curious who are the top 10 WR in the NFL?

Per some website I found...

Jefferson 1,800+ yrds
Hill
Adams
Brown 1,500 yrds
Diggs
Lamb
Waddle
[Kelce] 1,338 yrds
Smith
Mclaurin
St Brown 1,161 yrds
(#11) Amari Cooper 1,160 yrds lol

Hmmm... I gotta say, in this offense, he's probably still top 10 IMO

He hasn't invested much in terms of high-value draft assets at those spots, either.

Trading a 1st for Orlando Brown + a 2nd worked out well and was a really efficient way to approach that spot for a few years.

Kinnard was a Day 3 pick. Niang was a round 3 pick. Both still have some runway left but are well outside where you can count on any sort of consistent production.

Hardman wasn't as good as two guys taken after him, but he also was a good weapon and key contributor for KC over his first contract. They probably don't win either Super Bowl without the good work he did in those seasons.

Moore is too early to tell. Suspect we'll see a lot more of him next year.

I feel like Niang could be decent if he didn't have the injury issues and Wylie was a good UDFA pickup, but fair point.

First couple rounds of the draft will be interesting.

Chiefs have only selected one WR in the 2nd round, Hardman. Of the 2nd round picks Andy's had since he became HC@KC, the only two that stand out at all are Chris Jones in 2016 and Jeff Allen in 2012.

Not saying anything really, but the record of our 2nd rounders hasn't been very notable in a positive way.
