The way change comes about is by keeping such issues out there in the field of public opinion. That's how it begins. Then pressure has to be applied to politicians and LW. ( LE has been working on it as I understand but more needs to be done to break the protection racket.)

all I know is, the pizzagate thread went from discussion about alleged actions.....to 24/7 personal attacks.

There is (and should be) room for dialogue about allegations (and actual convictions) without a constant barrage of attacking the messenger, which is nothing more than a distraction from the heart of the matter.

Somewhere along the lines, it became personal for some weird reason.

Seems to me, if the topic (or the messenger) is too much for some, maybe they should just skip the thread altogether?

I'm not too worried about getting banned. I would have to actually break some rules to get banned. Mods here have been overwhelmingly fair with me over the last 20 years. Me posing questions about others intentions don't break any rules. It's simply fair play. If my intentions are up for grabs, why wouldn't anyone else's be?

Besides, the first person to be called a audiophile in that thread was me by Detoxing. He doesn't have much room to complain about his intentions in that thread being questioned. It's a pretty fair question.

Completely agree. I would love for nothing more than that thread be about people examining the facts. Even debating them. We never get that far because one poster wants to make it about me. The better solution would have been to ban that one poster from that thread so actual productive conversation can be had.
