Do I have a UTI? Or is this an enlarged prostate issue..

Just started up yesterday… I feel the urge to pee every hour within the hour, to the point it feels like I’m going to unleash a wave of pee but it only ends up being just a minor amount… after I pee, I feel relief but about only 2-3 minutes, until it slowly creeps back in with 15 minutes later feeling a crazy urge to per again….

The reasons I’m thinking UTI is because I’m reading that the UTI bacteria attacks the bladder wall making your body get the urge to pee it out without being full..

The reasons I don’t think it’s a UTI is because it doesn’t hurt or burn when I pee….

haven't looked into this phenomenon but my first thought would be that the balls themselves didn't grow, but more likely the skin which holds the balls stretches

Had a UTI last week. It was strange - fever (100.7) and body aches for a couple of days, and then fine for a couple of days. But woke up Sunday after having to pee 7 times during the night with a 102.3 fever and body aches again. Went to the ER because I was concerned it was going to be a kidney infection (don't **** with your kidneys). Good thing I went. Gave me 1 liter of fluids with an IV antibiotic and felt great almost right away. Did a CT of my kidneys and badder just to be safe and everything was okay other than thickening of the bladder wall. Sent me home with antibiotics and all is well.

You have prostatitis. An infection, inflammation of the prostate. Go to your doctor ASAP. In the mean time, soaking the area in a sitz bath can help, but you'll need medical intervention. I don't envy you. Been there, done that. It's miserable. I battled it for a full summer one year.

It was confirmed a UTI.. on my 2nd day of antibiotics.

I have to wear a bra in my pants for the sheer size of them. Like two cantaloupes from a roadside farm sale. I have to walk like a hamster...
