Dealing with Doge is just stressful. I do think it has a future here, but that doesn't mean those involved with it right now are walking around comfortably.

The support of the people, the masses. It doesn't have to make sense. If the people want it as our average joe crypto currency, then that's what it will become. We don't live in world that makes sense and this coin doesn't have to either. It's gaining ground in businesses everywhere as a form of payment, and it has the repetitively vocal support of one of the richest humans on the planet. The people will follow along with it over time.

This will eventually be a $1 coin at bare minimum. Doubt it will ever see anything above $3 though personally.

I just read through this thread from the start, and holy shit is it: funny, sad, mad, and happy.

I can say chiefrocka is the man. While many mocked, he is laughing to the bank.

I ran across a post of mine in here from 2017 at a point I got interested but was too lazy to research it all. Damnit stupid me. Damnit.

Now I am investing and mining (ETH)... because like chiefrocka stated, "The best time to plant a tree was 40 yrs ago, the 2nd best time is today."

Big props to you guys who were in it early.

Just curious what your setup is? I've looked into it more than once, and everything I've read suggests unless you can afford to do it on a large scale or have a cheap renewable source of energy it's not profitable anymore at all.

I'm just getting started so I can't give you my numbers just yet.

My best friend gave me his numbers:

1 PC (nvidia RTX 3060) Power = $7-$8 per month
He is mining .1 ETH per month.
So at current prices ($4k), that is about $400 per month.

I just grabbed an RTX 3070 for mining, and will plan on another if I can snatch an RTX 3080 tomorrow.

I'm not missing this boat AGAIN, so I'm giving it a shot.

I'm sure there's other places, but I went to Nicehash and tried it with them. Only for an afternoon, but you might have a better setup than I did. If anything, you can get an idea for what kind of rig you might need to buy to make some extra coin.
