Report: ‘American Pie’ Actor Held At Knifepoint During Hollywood Hills Barricade Situ

Finch was held hostage. Helicopters over my house for the past 3 hours.

HOLLYWOOD (CBSLA.com) — A woman reportedly armed with a knife barricaded herself inside a Hollywood Hills home Wednesday.

Unconfirmed reports said the woman was holding “American Pie” actor Eddie Kaye Thomas (he played Finch) was also being held in the home against his will.

After the actor escaped the home, the unidentified woman kept police at bay.

Police were called to the 2500 block of Hargrave Drive at 1:09 p.m., according to Los Angeles police officer Christopher No.

LAPD Lt. Andrew Neiman told the Los Angeles Times the woman had spent the night at the home but became angry when she was asked to leave and armed herself with a knife.

Police sharpshooters were on the scene, along with negotiators trying to take the woman out of the home.
