Remaining Chiefs schedule...
Did a quick glance at all potential AFC post-season teams...and the Chiefs are set-up better than I can remember in recent history.

If KC can get past NE and the Bills...they have 10 games remaining against only two "contenders". These are both NFC teams...Saints and Bucs. I dont really consider the Raiders "contenders"...

This is huge as far as conference seeding... their record against AFC teams takes precedence.

Conversely, Ravens play NE, Bills, Steelers (x2)...Bills also play the Steelers and Titans...NE plays the Bills (x2). Steelers play Indy and the Titans. Indy plays the Titans (x2).

This game against NE is pretty important. If KC wins...all the remaining teams will, effectively, cancel each other out. KC owns the head to head on the Ravens...

Pretty crazy year on that front...

Only thing that can stop the Chiefs is themselves. It's that simple.

They could go undefeated if they really wanted to (they won't (probably)). But they are that level of dominant.

It's just a matter of going out and executing and not getting complacent.

Chiefs, essentially, have only 3 games against top AFC teams...Ravens, NE and Bills.

I cant remember an easier path to the #1 seed....

A win agianst NE is a drivers seat win for sure and they have their div problems for once. The Bills are not a joke anymore.

The Bills have NE (x2) Steelers, Ravens and Titans...so the game against them isn't as consequential unless they run the board...they have to play every top team.

I think 11-5 is their ceiling...

NE has a fairly easy schedule...Bills (x2) and Ravens. The jury is still out but they could go 12-4...Steelers are kind of an unknown right now...but they have a tough schedule.

I cant see the Chiefs dropping more than 3 games...barring catastrophic injuries. They could go undefeated against the AFC....
