How many huge leads need to be blown?

Before you fire the ****er in charge of the defense that keeps blowing them?

Granted, we were there recipient of a **** job by the Refs but that's no excuse.

This is like a broken record. Every time we get out to a big lead our defense folds like a lawn chair and the common thread is Sutton

Don't get it twisted; if the refs were calling an impartial game, it would be 35-0 right now.

ShitsBurg couldn't even make a field goal until the refs started flagging them back into the game...

When 2 DB's and 3 linemen are rushing the passer, that by definition, is not a 3-man rush, Pete.

Maybe we should stop talking about football for a minute and talk instead about elementary math.

Well when the defense is out on the field for nearly 6 more minutes what do you expect? They held them to zero until they had to constantly be out there.

Exactly. They should have blown this group up two years ago. Now we are seeing the fruits.

It's called being realistic.

I'm not defending Sutton. Fire him now, I don't care.

I'm saying it won't make a bit of difference. And it won't until they find some people that can actually play football on that side of the ball.

I’d go the aggressive route if given the choice. Hell you might create a turnover. Sitting back doing nothing isn’t the answer.

Sutton should have been fired long ago, but even a great coordinator can’t build a doghouse without any nails. This is probably the worst group of defensive personnel in the NFL.

BULLSHIT. YOU GET AN OPPONENT DOWN 21 POINTS AND YOU MOTHERF'IN PIN YOUR MOTHERF'IN EARS BACK AND GO AFTER THE MOTHERF'IN QB. YOU DO NOT PUT HOUSTON IN PASS COVERAGE. BOB SUTTON SUCKS DONKEY DICK. HE EITHER MAKES NO GAMETIME ADJUSTMENTS OR HE MAKES THE WRONG GAMETIME ADJUSTMENTS. **** HIM. STOP DEFENDING HIM. HE'S EITHER BRAIN-DEAD OR ON THE STEELERS' PAYROLL. HE'S MOTHERF'IN GREG ROBINSON INCARNATE.

No offense htismage, you're one of my favorite posters here. I just strongly disagree on Sutton.

The theme is the same. Whenever we have a big lead, the defense lays off. The message is simple, give Roethlisberger time and he will pick you apart and then Sutton doesn’t adjust. This isn’t surprising.
