Minor visual changes (that should be noticeable in dark mode)
Just so people don't freak out, we're making some minor updates to a lot of the icons on the site, courtesy of Armyofme. He saw people talking about our shitty icons in the thread about dark mode and volunteered to help us get some things updated.

Most of them will look like better versions of what we had before, but you may notice a few icons changing to something slightly different. Just wanted to give everyone a heads-up.

(And say thanks to Armyofme for the work!)

So the new icons (and borders?) look great. Clean, smooth and modern. It's a nice, subtle face lift.

With that said, one issue in Dark Mode occurs when deleting a post. The text in the post deletion panel are damn near the same color as the panel box itself, making it near impossible to read when deleting a post.

Do you guys not see how hard it is to discern the difference between an unread and read thread on dark mode? It hurts my eyes, especially in combination with that ****ing red. It's like looking at a giant red light at a stop sign at night...

Change read threads to darker text...it's much easier to spot unread threads at a glance on royalsplanet...and i have that nice soothing blue...

I'm not sure what we can do if "bold" vs. "not bold" isn't clear to you. There aren't any other options for what to do when a thread has been read.

I agree. It is hard to discern read vs not. It would be my one last critique. Otherwise, especially with the new button graphics, it's a much better look than default.

it's not about if it's viewable or not...anything is viewable...but they should make it as easy as it is on regular mode to see a read thread vs an unread thread....like this:

I get what I paid for here so it's poor form for me to complain, but that's why I switched back out of dark mode as well. It's not all that tough to see the difference on a computer monitor but on a phone it definitely is.

The icons look great, though. Nice change. I'll still likely to stick with default skin though; it's just a huge convenience to see what I've clicked on already. Y'all lemme know if GoChiefs complains enough to get that fixed though...

Nope. Bold/not bold is hard coded. We can change the colors for all links, but we can't have a read thread be a different color than an unread thread.

Yeah that would be better. They use that darker font color here (looks like a lowered opacity on the font) to make the bold + white stand out more.

We could experiment with making the background even darker to improve contrast, but I'll leave that to Armyofme once he gets around to it.
