Happened in 2000-2001. Jax was 13-3 behind Tenn at 14-2. Jax beat Tenn in the playoffs for the 3rd time that year. Jax was the only team Tenn lost to.

If people are really worried about New England, right now it is better to have the 2 seed. At the one seed,you'd host NE in the divisional round. As the 2 seed, you wouldn't host until the AFC Championship game.

So, is it better to host NE earlier, or is it better to have to potentially go to Pittsburgh for the AFC CHampionship?

Not really though. I figure the Pats end up as the 3 seed, so give me the 1 and let Pitt and NE play in the divisional round.

Not how it would happen. Currently:

WILD CARD
1 Kc - bye
3 NE vs 6 Cin

2 Pitt - bye
4 Hou vs 5 LAC

DIVISIONAL
1 KC vs NE/Cin

2 Pit vs Hou/LAC

We would play New England at home in the divisional round. Most likely scenario, Chiefs host NE, then Pit in back to back weeks. If we go to the Sb, we'll have ****ing earned it.
