Andy Reid got thoroughly outcoached

Belichik didn't do a damn thing different then what he's done the last 6 weeks of the season and Andy Reid completely choked. No gameplan whatsoever. 37 yards of offense in the first half and I put that on Reid not Mahomes. He went the first 2 quarters without running a single bunch set, a single rub route, not once did he move the pocket, and only once did he run a play action pass. Not a single screen and no misdirection. He was dropping straight back in shotgun against a blitzing defense when he has a QB that can move.

Andy actually made Belichiks defense look like the '85 bears for a quarter.

I'm gonna have to agree with the folks in Philly who hate on him so much. Reid just doesn't have it.

Dee Ford lines up a foot back and Reid is a hero today.

Not buying any of this bullshit.

It's funny because typically it feels like the Chiefs come out firing, they were pretty much the best team in the league at scoring early this year. The one exception to that is Belichick. They always seem to come out and hit us in the mouth early.

I will say this though, in Reid's last three games against Belichick his team has scored 28, 31 and 31 in the 2nd half. They have been excellent at making 2nd half adjustments. That is some solid work against probably the best defensive coach ever.

Also, I will add the first half gameplan was not great but we basically had one drive in the 1st quarter. Mahomes came out amped up, which is something that happens with him. By the time he was able to settle the 1st half was practically over because the Patriots were able to execute their gameplan of keeping him off the field.. And even then Mahomes made a couple bad overthrows where the play call was 100% right but he didn't put enough touch on the ball. One of them would have been a TD to Williams.

I'm really not too irritated with Reid after this one TBH, the offensive players themselves probably deserve just as much responsibility as Reid.

How do you get thoroughly outcoached when you lose by 6 in OT to the best coach and QB ever?

Romo talked about it during the game. Brady told him that they didn't need to worry about a bunch of hand signals to deal with the noise in Arrowhead. That our defense is so basic that they wouldn't need to change their calls because they had adjustments built in.

Sutton's high school defense takes away much of the noise advantage from being at Arrowhead.

How should we be, happy?

Like you do understand chances last night don't come around every year right...?

I know a lot of people think we're just going to waltz into the AFC Championship for the next 10 years but that ain't happening...

That was a blown opportunity last night, plain and simple.

Thats game.
Andy Reid is the head coach, his job is the entire team not just scoring points.

The team wasn't ready to play until the 2nd half. That's on Reid.

So we should just fire Reid then because he was “out coached”?

Let’s be a little more rational here bud

We had the lead with 2 minutes to go. We win if Dee Ford doesn't gull full dumb****. Blame Reid for the first half, that's fine. But don't act like he didn't make the adjustments for his team to beat the Pats, because he did. Unfortunately Sutton and Ford took a shit on the entire thing, so please put the blame where it deserves to go.

This is the biggest example of "being out-coached" that I've seen in a long time...maybe ever.

**** you Andy Reid and Bob Sutton.

Hill and Kelce combining for 4rec 65yds and the offense having only 30yds rushing on 10carries is inexcusable.

And that last OT drive by the defense was the most saddest display of football I've ever seen.
