From what I’ve seen it’s just a reskin with graphics. The loot system hasn’t changed from the original.

I still play LOD every now and then for a couple months. Great game, but what kills it is the absolute dogshit potion system and having to have 20 mules where you risk losing your items unless you have some friends that help xfer items but 21 years later the idea of having friends that still play the game doesnt exist.

Yup i'm sure I lost my 30 or so accounts I used to have, I haven't logged in for like a decade LOL. What I remember was the REALLY low drop chance for high level runes, the better set items and uniques. The Zod rune had like 3 or 4 ACTUAL drops TOTAL when you didn't account for dupes back in the day.

I simply won't have the patience to wait for good drops in this game which is why I would prefer to play offline with mods.

I bought diablo 3 for three different platforms. No regrets. I’ll get this for sure since it was before my time. I was EXTREMELY focused on Halo when this came out.

Start with a Blizz Sorc every other ladder, then I go Hammerdin for chaos farming after crafting enigma, then I build frenzy barb for UBER Trist farming.

I cant wait to play this, and the Quality of life changed they are making (No more mules) will be really nice.
