Prayer Request Nodules that look like ground glass? - Page 2

I'm not the religious type, but my grandfather is. Anything that might help I'm willing to try.

My grandfather (83) played the role of my father during my dads struggles with alcoholism. So from 6th grade, to graduation, this man taught me everything about life, responsibility, and how to be a man and father.

Last April, he was coughing blood and this horseshit ER said It was simply a broken blood vessel in the throat from coughing, even though there was a small spot on his lungs.

Now the chest pain is worse, and on the x ray the doctors say the spot is bigger and now there are nodules present in the lungs that are similar to ground glass.

CT scan being set up. All we can do now is wait, and hope for the best.

Until now id never even contemplated the thought of him not being around. Toughest old buzzard ive ever seen.

But this makes him look mortal, and its ****in terrifying, so If there is anything out there listening, if you could ask for some help with this, id be grateful.

I had a healthy stable home life and my grandparents were still very important to me. Hard to imagine how you’re feeling right now.

My grandpas in the rest home. He hasn’t walked for 5 years but the dimentia is getting bad enough he decided to get up and walk to bed. Shattered his femur. Dimentia isn’t any fun either.

Many thanks for the prayers and well wishes. We received results yesterday, and it was pretty mind blowing.

CT results came back clear, and they said that their best estimation was that he probably had a touch of pneumonia last time. They were very surprised to find out he was a smoker, as they said his lungs do not look like those of a smoker.

Further inquiry on the chest pain,and pain under the shoulder blade revealed that due to being a Word Search fiend, he had gotten a condition called "text neck"from the posture he was in for 2-4 hours every morning doing those damn puzzle books.

Chest pain was posture related as well, and found to be muscular discomfort. Prescribed flexaril for both conditions.

Funny as hell. Old man never had muscle relaxers before and had to use furniture to even walk after. Said hed be cutting those sumbitches in half if he got to where he needed to take one again.

Everyone is super relieved. Thank you all again.
