Hasn't been a great year for me, either. Although I did clock 350 miles on the bike in July, which I'm really happy about.

I got down to 190 before the beach. Weighted 198 on the day I returned. Hah.

Time to start slogging it down again. The wife's finally trying Intermittent Fasting again after she heard a positive story about it on NPR. When I tried to tell her it was safe/healthy a few years ago, she fasted a few days but constantly complained about feeling faint and tired. Now that she heard it on NPR, though, she amazingly is having zero problem during her fasts and says she feels great.

I didn't get in on the original thread, but as of this morning, I'm down 40 lbs. Still have about 20 ish more to go. If I would quit drinking beer on weekends, the weight loss would've been faster. But overall happy with my progress.

That's the hardest part and I'm starting to fall back into drinking myself.
