Yeah, but he throws shit like that in there to poke the bear. He's in Dungver Donkey hell, he hates the Chiefs, but he's pretty funny most of the time. I like his schtick...for the most part.

Yikes. So, if KC had successfully traded up for Lynch, where would Mahomes likely be right now?

Yeah, he cracks me up. I'm sure he would have been insufferable back when they were good, but that's not going to happen again for a long, long time.

He had 5 sacks and 7 QBHits in the 3 postseason games.

That's statistically one of the best postseason performances from a pass rusher in NFL history.

I would say 2 massive plays by Dan Sorenson to shift momentum were a lot more important than those 3 sacks by Clark. 1 sack was at the very end of the Titans game, when the Titans were essentially dead and buried after a long ball TD to Sammy Watkins. Frank had 1 sack against the Niners and that one was probably more important compared to the sacks in the other 2 games.
Fellas, it's not just about the 2019 postseason performance. People seem to forget that there were at least three key games that ended up giving KC the 1-seed and HFA for the SB run that year. And it was in those three games in which Frank's performances were critical to earning that 1-seed.

For example, week 11. The Chiefs are 7-4, playing the Chargers. That game ends on a dirty Dan INT, but it was the pressure brought on by Frank Clark in the Chargers final drive that forced Rivers to throw a tad early to get intercepted. Frank also had 5 tackles, 1 sack, 1 TFL, 1 PD and 3 QB hits in that game.

Week 14 vs. NE. KC is rolling in the first half until Pat somehow injures his hand. KC is only able to score 3 points after the half, giving NE and Brady more than a quarter to try and score a TD and win the game, which would've given them the tie-breaker vs. KC, iirc. Frank gets 5 more tackles, 1 sack, 2 TFLs, and another QB hit in the game, but it's the QB pressure he generates in the waning moments that forces Brady to throw early and off his back foot, allowing Breeland to reach over and knock the ball away from Edelman, sealing the game for the Chiefs.

Week 17. Playing the Chargers again, Frank gets another sack, another TFL, another PD, and 3 QB hits, the most important one on what would turn out to be the Chargers last drive, when he goes around the Chargers LT and Rivers is forced to throw the ball early, and on the run, allowing Daniel Sorensen to again be the hero of the game with yet another INT.

That win, plus MIA defeating NE moments before, gave the Chiefs the 1-seed and ultimately their path to a Super Bowl Victory. Those late-season and playoff performances were definitely critical to the Chiefs ultimately winning a Super Bowl.

Whatever else Frank has done or not, he deserves credit for what he did in those final weeks of the 2019-2020 season.

Oh, and that video in the OP is hilarious. And thank God we didn't end up with Paxton Lynch. What a shitshow that would've been, right?

I do too. I will say that he called this week Chiefs week. Didn’t know any other team had one of those for us like we did for the Raiders.

The rumors about the Chiefs trading up for Lynch were always bullshit and have been debunked.

Can't believe people still beleive that.
