Would you trade Flowers next year?

For a 2nd round pick? We've seen the defense play just as good if not better without him.

If Cooper continues to play like he has been you have him on a 4 year 7th round pick deal.

You have to pay Justin Houston. I wouldn't be surprised to see Charles hold out given the way he's being used and his current bargain contract.

IIRC Berrys contract will be up in a few years too.

The defense is set the offense needs a lot of improvement obviously. An extra pick would help. I would make that trade.

I thought the new CBA quashed hold outs.

Truth be told Carr isn't worth 50 million and the defense in dallas isn't that great. The chiefs are the best in the league.

The fact is if you can improve your team by making a move you do it.

This is ridiculous to make a statement like that based on ONE GAME. Was Flowers ever supposed to be the difference maker against that Raiders offense??

Wait till we face the Broncos without Flowers and Welker rapes us... wait till Sean Smith has a couple of bad games a bit later this year.

Hell no.

Flowers is a proven commodity and will help against Denver.
He is the perfect slot CB when healthy. In a passing league nickle CBs stay on the field like 60% of the time or more. He has a lot of value for us.

Well you are cherry picking here but to answer your question:

Rob Gronkowski and Dunlap. You could make a case for several others like Ben Tate since we don't have a back up to Jamaal Charles.

I just picked a draft that guys had a chance to establish themselves a bit. 2010 was the first and only one that I've looked at.

Gronk is the only guys you can say for sure would offer more than Flowers at this point. No way on Dunlap and a backup RB or a top 10 CB? Serious?

I don't know if any of these guys make the team much better.

Yeah, the point was you have about a 10% chance at best of finding a comparable player. A bird in the hand and all that jazz.

Just looked at 09. It's about the same. 3-4 guys that catch your eye and McCoy is the Gronk of that class.

Yeah, but it's right up there with making a thread titled: "Is Cassel the best QB to ever play the game?"

Could it be discussed? Sure...but why?
