****OFFICIAL STOCK CHALLENGE & DISCUSSION THREAD****
It is reported that 80to 90% of all stock pickers including professional portfolio managers are unable to beat the S&P 500 over a 10 year period. I feel sure that the members of Chiefsplanet are much smarter than ANY professional portfolio manager. (Cough)

Lets see what we got. Here are the rules.

1) Pick 3 stocks you can live with for the next 12 months that you think will outperform the S&P 500. We will use the (SPY) as the meter. After you make your choice you cannot change it.

2) Your picks will begin with the opening stock price on 4-1-22. Actually closing price 3/31/22

3) The deadline to get in the challenge is midnight 3-31-22.

4) You may use any stock, index fund, etf, mutual fund except (SPY) as a pick.

5) No OTC stocks.

6) You cannot pick the SAME 3 stocks as another person. two are fine but not three to avoid duplication.

7) Results will be by percentages ,not dollars.



I will post everybody's entries in the first post following the OP as they come in and update the first of every month along with the (SPY)

I will also post a list of the top 5 performing stocks of all stocks we are watching monthly.


***This will also be a place to discuss all things stocks , including MEME stocks at your leisure as we are trying to avoid MEME stock discussion in the original Investing megathread. Remember to keep politics out or you'll go to jail.***

I'm not, but 2 of my friends are still in it. I don't quite understand it, one of my friends got 10 shares from the initial IPO allocation. You spent 40 bucks and you are up almost 2k. Sell that shit.
