I think the funniest part is SDH always leading the pack on a thread/poll he started, crying foul, then still soaking up the same amount of votes in the revote threads

I still think it should be Loon vs. Sweets in a one on one vote off for the title.

But rejecting the big bang? I thought that they were at least to the point where they accepted it as God snapping his fingers whilst listening to a jazz record in the very least. I think that's the Catholics position from the last that I knew

What's funny is that the top two vote getters are more socially stupid than anything else.

In terms of objectively wrong ideas about the nature of reality I don't think they're stupid. Socially they cannot engage with people like normal humans. It's just insult, lie, insult, lie, self aggrandizement, lie, insult...

I've noticed people who behave this way on the internet are pretty common. Probably on the spectrum.

Catholics accept both evolution and the big bang, or at least the papacy does.. and has for a while now. The catholic church does too much work in astronomy to ignore it. Hell, if you look up the theory you'll find a few catholic priests among the scientists.

Young earth creationists are mostly protestants and muslims.
