Through 6 games we've given up 2,809 yards on defense. That puts us on pace to give up 7,491 yards for the season.

The all-time record for yards allowed in a season was set in 2012 by New Orleans with 7,042.

What do you think? Can we do it?

We won't win shit with this defense. They suck all the way around. No game is safe to call a win with this group and that old dufuss Sutton on the side line calling it. Veach needs to make a move but so far done nothing.

I think 60 is a legitimate answer, but it's on the high end. So, I would say somewhere between 48 and 54.

Our pace has slowed slightly over the last 2 weeks, from 468 yards per game to 432 yards per game.

Through 8 games we've given up 3,459 yards on defense. That puts us on pace to give up 6,918 yards for the season. The all-time record for yards allowed in a season is 7,042.

So, take heart Chiefs fans. We've only fallen behind the pace by one or two big plays. I'm reasonably certain they will get back on track soon.

Supposedly another GM said that the Chiefs defense is going to be good by the end of the season, they just haven’t figured out that they are good, yet.

Heard it on FoxSports from the NFL films guy.

Take it for what it’s worth. I see a pile of shit mixed with flashes of great.

I don't think we have talent to be good on D unless Berry comes back and plays like his former self but the D can certainly be better than they have been.

Since the Pats game the D has improved which is great to see. Tackling is much better and our secondary is doing a much better job against the pass particularly against play action.

With our offense all we need is an average to slightly below average D and the only thing that would stop us from getting that SB trophy would be a choke job in the playoffs.

Too many offensive coordinators have too much Kyle Shanahan in them. They want to look innovative instead of focusing on winning games. If you want to beat the Chiefs, you need to run the ball and pass only when you need to keep the defense honest. Defenses staked to huge leads will always have bad yardage totals b/c teams are forced to throw, but the fewer possessions the Chiefs offense has, the fewer points they can score.
