Fox News Poll: 54% of Republicans, 70% of all voters support raising taxes on $10m+

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/fox...estic-spending

Overall voters:

Republicans in particular:

Quote:
Republicans are less sure where the sweet spot is for tax hikes. A majority of 59 percent opposes tax hikes on incomes over $250,000, while a 54 percent majority favors increases on incomes over $10 million. For incomes over $1 million, GOP views split: 47 favor vs. 43 oppose.
Sounds like AOC's ideas are more popular in your party than any of you care to admit!

OK

Point is, you're claiming that a CHANGE in federal tax rules that negatively impacts a lot people is in fact not something they can blame on the Pres and Congress, who are the people responsible for changing the law.

Hopefully we'll someday figure out a way to change federal law to end ethanol subsidies too, not to mention others.

OK...and stating the standard deduction amounts means about squat for knowing a person's overall tax situation. I haven't used the standard deduction in years.

People who's taxes have gone up without a raise in income are probably bitching because of losing the SALT deduction.

Don't feel too bad that they can no longer socialize the costs of living in an in-demand location.

Never mind that tax increase...it's only because we changed the tax rules, so it really doesn't count.
