Madden 25 Release tonight

Who is getting it?

I am picking mine up tomorrow morning from Best Buy, but my Xbox 360 GT is Maverick91579 if anyone wants to pound me.

I didn't play last year, and have been getting crushed by the computer on all madden.

Ill use the Browns.

Ability to place a ball and have it bounce and stick inside the 10 yard line is not a Madden trait. You punt the ball 40 yards, it will always bounce and roll directly forwards.

Does this happen to anyone else?

When ever I run the hook routes, my receiver always goes flying back towards the direction of the oline, and when ever I pick it off, no matter which way im facing, the guy always goes opposite a few steps of the way he should be running?

The receiver thing sounds like the WR running back towards the QB to gain separation. The interception thing Madden almost got right this year. And then they did that. Good one EA.

I guess I worded it wrong. No, my receiver catches the ball, and his first few steps, are back towards the line of scrimmage, no matter if there is a guy there or not. Just doesn't feel natural.

Oh. Yeah that's just Madden being Madden. I attempt to counteract this by throwing to the inside or outside shoulders. Makes them have to adjust their body because if the ball is throw right at them it's like they want to go running back.

Yeah, that's my second biggest complaint after the shitty defense. On every interception, EVERY ****ING ONE, my guy will take steps in the wrong direction and dick around just long enough to go nowhere and get tackled immediately.

And once again, they need to fix the horseshit QB carrying rating. I'm tired of RGIII having 30 carries and not fumbling a single time. It's just not realistic. RGIII has literally fumbled the ball without even being touched on more than one occasion (in real life) and this ****er is out here taking clean shots from my LBs with no problem.

Anybody did the Gatorade shower deal yet? They must have added it with the update. I just got so ****ing mad that I shut it off for awhile over the damn Bears defense just being unbeatable at that point against Aaron Rodgers of all people.

Think I will watch a little porn, have a couple whiskey drinks and go back and kick their ass.

And it sucks to have Percy Harvin gone. I could roll with that team originally.

That shit is completely unacceptable and ill never play another game against the computer.
Try tackling AP. I get trucked 6 times in a row before on last years game

**** that. Apparently MJD has the illest stiff arm on the planet. He was literally runnig between the tackles with his arm out, ready to straight-arm mother****ers. He's good, but he doesn't break 4 tackles in a row on every ****ing run. The best I can do is have my guys in the right place at the right time; I ****ing hate that the computer basically cheats to best you. No way in hell I stick 3 guys with 80+ tackle ratings on you and you run through them all then burn my CBs on the way to the endzone.

Seriously, I think DJs tackle rating in the game is like a 95 or something. He should RARELY, if ever, not make a tackle.

Roster updates are out.

Poe is up to an 84, Houston a 94, Sean Smith 84, Berry up to 89, T Jack an 80 and Jamaal's up to 95. Pretty solid upgrades- makes stopping the run a lot easier with a solid line. If the interior offensive line gets its shit together we could be a nasty ass Madden team.

Out of curiosity I checked and Manning is a 99.

I found this out the hard way.

I actually had to ask Donny Moore about it. I was scrolling through players when I first got the game to see what was out there, and I came across Demarcus Ware, yes, THAT DEMARCUS Ware on the Cowboys, and he was rated a 78.

Apparently, if you are the owner, or coach of a team that doesn't run the same scheme as another team, like, KC runs the 3-4, and now that Dallas is the 78, the pro rate the players on teams that don't run your scheme so they show what their ratings would be on your team.

I was so confused because a player I traded for on the Rams was Robert Quinn who was rated like a 61.

Shrugs.
