***Official Knowmo2724 homer-2000 thread***

Very few non-bronco fans can tolerate him. he creates inane threads that are homeristic in nature (his avatar is very apropos), and nobody loves him (not even his own mother)

'face, this can be the home for all knowmo threads so we aren't treated to the bi-weekly steaming 'presents' left by the front door.

The Falcons have better quality wins? Against who?

Atlanta only has good wins against Donks, Dallas, and Redskins. I think they are pretty comparable with the Donks in terms of a weak schedule and can reasonably see why they'd be ranked ahead of the regardless of head to head/season record due to the Donks winning streak.

I can't really justify the Donks being ranked ahead of the Texans, despite their loss to NE. They have wins over Denver, Balt, and Chicago.

My whole point is your splitting hairs arguing who is better between the Texans and Broncos. Both teams are at the top of the AFC and will have a chance to decide it on the field.

Well, one team will. The other is losing at NE 2nd round of the playoffs.

Still better then drafting in the top 3 hiding our heads in a paper sack.

The power rankings aren't meant to be season-encompassing. They're rankings of how each team is playing right now. The people coming up with them don't really care what happened 11 weeks ago, they care what happened this week. And this week, the Texans and Falcons both fell on their faces.

Wrong. We'll have a franchise QB next year and the Donks will be stuck with the ultimate post-season choke artist and Assweiler.

Oh, okay. So why aren't the Seahawks, Giants, Packers, all teams that won this weeek ranked ahead of the Texans? I mean, if it isn't season-encompassing and we should throw out past results, right?

Makes sense now.

Because the Texans still only lost one of their last 7 games. Is this really that hard to grasp? Recent results matter more to these lists, but that doesn't mean just the last game.

, so now recent results matter but the rankings shouldn't reflect results that are "too distant"?

Not at all. We'll have a young franchise QB. They'll have one more year of Jughead with nothing behind him.
