Book on how to increase lottery chances......
So this guy at my work bought this book that claims to help you increase your odds of winning the lottery (LOL). I told him he's a ****ing moron but he just won't listen. He keeps going back to "Well the guy who wrote the book WON 7 JACKPOTS!" I keep saying yes, because he got lucky one time and won a nearly 1 million dollar jackpot, and since then has reinvested a shit ton of that into the ****ing lottery.
Anyway, he bought this ****ing book, which is more like a pamphlet, and all he got out of it was "Play numbers that have never won before, or haven't hit in a long time". I said "......good luck with that, and it won't make a difference because the lottery has no memory". So he found some site that has all the pas winning lottery numbers from 1997 to present, and now is trying to figure out a way to pick something besides those numbers. FML |

The really sad part is he is trying this with scratcher tickets.
-Seriously though I have waited in line several times, while the clerk had to look up the number on the scratcher ticket to see if the customer wanted to buy it. |

And for the record I am not a fan of the lottery, or scratcher tickets, or slot machines, etc. But if people here want to get a big work pot together when the jackpot is really huge and buy a crapload of tickets, I'll throw in 3 bucks. Seems reasonable and ok with me.

The guy who wrote that book did hit the jackpot, he has made a lot of money selling the gambler's fallacy, much like casinos, state lotteries, etc. have
