With our linebackers a 3-4 would be nice. Tank in the middle. nice.

IF we are playing 3-4 we should then have Bell playing his natural position like he did in PIT. Then and only then should he be allowed to be on the field.

That comment has no indication of running a 3-4. You think Sperm is just going to change schemes that hasn't been practiced all preseason due to one DRUNK then switch back to 4-3 once he is back? Goqueer you have about the worst football knowledge around out of the people who act like they know what they are talking about.

I'm a proponent on switching to the 3-4. I know we don't have the talent right now to run it, but overall, I like the scheme better. It sets you up far better for confusing the offense, it gets more athletes on the field (trading a DL for a faster, more athletic LB) and you can run the same coverages out of it.

The personnel doesn't really work. The strength of the team is Jared Allen, DJ and Donnie Edwards. Allen is best as an end in the 4-3. DJ and Edwards are both ideal 4-3 OLBs. DJ could be more of an inside linebacker in the 3-4.....like Donnie Edwards was in San Diego. He's way too small to be an OLB in the 3-4.

I don't know what he said that would make you think 3-4, but I guess anything is possible.
