Hail, anyone?
Nothing like being jarred awake by the sound of hail beating the shit out of everything you own.

It's 72 degrees, so by the time the hail stopped enough to grab some, they had melted some. These are about raquetball size.



And we have another big cell on the way. Yippee.

that's some big hail! Last night here in OKC at about 1:30 am there was some pea size hail and the sound of a tornado siren going off for about 15 minutes, I don't think a tornade ever touched down here but at least they had the sirens working in case! In Lawrence when that tornado or micro burst hit, the sirens didn't go off till after the fact and it hit a few blocks from where I lived.

A factory west of here is reporting that they had softball size hail come through the roof. Numerous reports of car windshields smashed.

News is now reporting the biggest cell is down to only 900 lightning strikes an hour. It was at 3000 strikes per hour when it went through here.
