While they can be a distraction and a pain in the ass, they are still not as annoying to me as some of the deadbeats begging for money on the street corners. There is one guy in town who has been there for three fricken years holding a the same sign that says something about how he is trying to make enough money for a bus ticket to get home. My guess would be he clears at least 60K tax free dollars a years. WTH is he trying to do, buy his own bus for the trip? Fricken scam artists.

I've always thought it was a bit reckless to put an employee next to a busy street with the intent to distract drivers. I'm sure once a few of them get mowed down that will be the end of it.

That was my first job as a young kid. Two and a half hours after school and 5 hours on Saturday.

I think some of the Lady Liberties are pretty funny, around tax time. I'd love it more in August.

I always kind of wonder how the job interview is conducted. Are they competing against signposts? Are they sitting in the waiting room with three other people and four 4x4 pieces of wood?
