I missed a state in the poll. My head hurts now trying to find it.
And yes, I always sucked at these tests in grade school, too. |

This. Texas and its not even close. I've driven in almost every state and seen dumb drivers everywhere, but Texas takes the cake. Washington DC would be 2nd worse.

My original take of Kansas and Iowa was based on this -
Kansas - the drivers putt along until you go to pass them. As you get even with them, they speed up while giving you the "What's your problem" look until they get past you. Three minutes later, rinse and repeat. Kansas drivers also will pace you, no matter which lane they are in. You can be going 75 or 55, and a Kansas driver will stay right on your hip. BONUS - the stretch of I-35 between Lamar and 151st street house possibly the largest number of braindead numbnuts to ever, EVER crawl behind a wheel. Iowa - Iowanians (the people, not the poster, necessarily) drive along like they're coming back from brunch at the church, always. When you are finally able to get around one, they smile and give you that oblivious "Hi neighbor!" look, not realizing that they have backed traffic up for a mile or two singing traveling songs with the kids. |

In Florida, drivers play a game called "Guess what I'm gonna do next".
