Alex Smith is never the problem. He is the greatest mediocre qb to have ever played. When the team loses its everyone elses fault. He just needs better receivers, running backs and offensive line. Throw in an elite defense and he just might not shart down his own leg.

This fanbase has never been more divided. All we had to do was go healthy into the playoffs for just one year and not crap the bed with play calling. Couldn't do it.

To imply that the loss of Jones/Berry/Ford/Conley/Kelce/Ware had very little impact on our chances of winning is just plain ignorant.

Because the Steelers played so well when Bell went down in the Pats game last year..right?
