All of the older people in my office saw white and gold and all of the young people, sans 1, saw blue and black.

Has nothing to do with age.

This. The actual dress may be blue and black. But the photo this white and gold. I opened the image in Photoshop and clicked the eye dropper on the colors and they are white (actually a really really really light blue. More a blue tinted white) and gold
