Yup. Even Dontari Poe wasn't that strong year one. You can't really prepare someone playing in the trenches for the NFL until they are actually there.

He's just itchy in his bathing suit area because I call him on his QB BS without being a caricature he can dismiss.

How so? Both have top shelf trainers, equipment, and nutrionist.

I picture that episode of Cheers where Cliff does stand up whenever BL tries to be funny. Feels forced and desperate.

First and foremost it's about the amount of time they have at the nfl level.

And not every college has what you said nor is it at the level of the nfl. It's catching up at the collegiate level, but it's not the nfl yet.

Time? How much time do you think you do strength and conditioning in a day?

We are talking about Dee Ford of Auburn. Here is a quick video of Alabama's weight facility. How does it stack up to the Chiefs?

Time as in, they don't have school, or Holliday breaks or any restrictions to how much they are allowed to be in the facility, etc.

Your just wrong here. The weight room is a huge part of the college football culture year round. In the NFL the guys are pretty much on their own to do or not do as they please.

Yeah, no.

The last part, absolutely not true.

I didn't watch Cheers but I'll take your word for it.

A good friend of mine is a pastor and his jokes are really lame, just dead in the water jokes but I laugh more at his attempt at being funny more then the joke itself.

Incorrect. It is true or you wouldnt ever hear about guys coming into camp out of shape.

Regardless saying Dee Ford needs to hit the weight room is like saying Clay needs to post more on ChiefsPlanet.

Dontari Poe's strength was legendary at the combine-- the kid benched 225lbs for 44 reps, five short of the record. His speed was also remarkable for a man his size.

Strength has never been Poe's problem.
