If they somehow land Tolbert we can get by with Cassel and Brady Quinn.

DeCastro is a fine pick, even at 11. He doesn't play a premium position, but at least he plays it well. His position is no less important to our offense than Kuechly as the Ted linebacker would be in Romeo's defense. And DeCastro is a better prospect relative to his position.

We need to trade down, but if we can't, taking a guy that is likely to be a HOF caliber player in a couple of years isn't the end of the world. I'll take another Will Shields at 11...

i wouldn't draft poe...

and 'will shields' will be there in the 3rd...guard is the easiest position to find in the draft...and anyways, we just drafted hudson and asamoah, we don't even need a guard...go get a center which is better value

and again, I firmly believe pioli won't draft a guard at #11...i'd draft jenkins or perry if we can't trade down..

LMAO

You think the Chiefs are going to draft "Dunt'a Robinson?"

Are they going to wind the clock back 8 years to do that?

That wouldn't be my first choice but we don't have a backup for DJ. Backup now starter in a few years maybe?

I say no, no probably not.

He's a good player, but I'd pass.

The following shitty QB's Quinn has been unable to beat out in his career:

Charlie Frye
Derrick Anderson
Kyle Orton
Tim Teblow

Everyone needs to take a step back on the whole "value at pick 11" crap.

I got news...no one is going to have VALUE at that position unless something drastic happens.

Guard, nose tackle, middle linebacker, safety, pass rusher. It doesn't matter what position they play. Take the guy you think is the top at his position. If that's Decastro, then fantastic. Kuechly? Great. Poe? Fine.

The point is, we had a gaping hole at right tackle that was going to FORCE us to draft a tackle at the 11th pick. Now, we are truly free to take the best available player.
