Yeah - it was the physicality.

Which is a little strange because he's never shied away from that. He's generally been a pretty gritty player and as guards go, he's not small. He's been prone to absorbing abuse out there and battling through it. In that 45 point game he had against Indiana they beat the absolute shit out of him and he just kept coming.

Not sure why, but he looked absolutely done with that about midway through game 2. He just was not willing to absorb the punishment anymore.

There's a decent argument to make that the Lakers could keep Luka, James, Reaves, Rui and maybe DFS -- jettison the ENTIRE rest of the roster -- and be in better shape for next season.

And Jaxson Hayed probably cost himself $30 million this series. Maybe more. I mean what an absolute disaster. He may be a league minimum guy after that effort.

Tatum is half the player those other three are. And by the fact that you’ve listed Jokic first, I can only assume that’s an admission that he’s the best player in the league.

I would rank it like this..

1. Giannis
2. SGA
3. Jokic
4. Tatum
5. Ant

Tatum is a great player. Its time everybody gives him his due.

Jokic is clearly first on any list. He's been the best player in the league for about a half decade now.

Tatum belongs on no list, he's carried on one of the more stacked teams ever assembled.

Correct.

The MJ cult is so hung up on ring culture (because it’s literally all they have at this point, LeBron is literally averaging a near 25 point triple double through his 22nd year in the league), so what better way to expose that ridiculous argument for what it is than LeBron just being carried to a title as a role player?

It’s my dream.

If you thought the longevity argument was sufficient you wouldn't be so desperate for somebody else to carry LeBron to more rings.

LMAO LMAO LMAO

That's what you don't understand. You are so transparent that literally anybody can see this.

TheGreatCassholio 05-01-2025 10:56 AM

When it comes out later about him using PED's to play this long he will go down as even more of a fraud

Sassy Squatch 05-01-2025 10:59 AM

Probably.

Desperate? Hardly. But inflicting yet another source of shame on the MJ cult would be an ideal end to his career and exposing the silly ring argument for what it is by having LeBron carried to a title would do exactly that.

There are really still people in this world who care about professional athletes taking PEDs? I hope he's taking them and I hope he does it for another decade if for some reason he chooses/wants to play that long.

What PEDs would even be useful for a 40 year old bball player other than like EPO?

Depends on the type, but I'd absolutely assume both LeBron and Brady were doing something to maintain themselves at that level at this age.
