The NFL said there would be a full refund if the game didn't happen. I'm being that doesn't include ticket fees.

It includes everything. It's the same as if you've bought tickest to Arrowhead off one of these sites for the AFCCG and the game doesn't get played. Full refund.

The NFL doesn’t wanna give all that money back and the exposure this will get. Thoughts and prayers to Cincinnati on Sunday lol

Uh, the other two stadiums have been sold out for a couple weeks.. they're giving back at least two stadiums worth of tickets no matter what happens.

The economic impact for Kansas City metro has to be devastating…..

Ugh.. I guess I can see why they do that, if they give people an allotment of 4 or 6 without knowing how many tickets each person will buy, so they have an overflow... but just another reason the NFL should have followed their own damn rules on the no contest game.

ALL DAY THIS!!

It would seem if the NFL wanted to fix a game this would be the one to “fix”.

It’s been said many times the NFL has wanted championship games to be played on neutral fields for years. This is their test run and if all goes well, the future of the NFL. This is their opportunity.

Aside from that article, where else has that been said? I don't recall ever hearing about that as something being discussed and I consume a lot of football content.

I don’t think it’ll ever happen on a permanent scale. The regular season drops in value, especially late in the season, if this happens and the NFL wouldn’t like that as much as they’d like neutral site conference title games.

I think it's also fair to say that they don't want to see the Championship Game hosted in Kansas City for the fourth year in a row as well. That could be the main reason they've bent over backwards to make sure the game is played elsewhere.

Probably far too much credit to the NFL... the Bengals reported there was mass confusion during the postponement, then the Bills left town for whatever reason.

I'm thinking they had their hands full enough worrying about the Bills and Bengals to make the Chiefs a priority at all.... hell, if that was top of mind, they could have continued the game and rigged it for the Bills to win, then the Chiefs wouldn't have a chance at HFA since obviously they're already planning on the Bills to win in the divisional round.

Or they could have done a coin flip, since they aren't above that idiocy, or maybe just make the Bengals/Chiefs a neutral site, too, because why the hell not.

At worst, if there was this grand scheme to **** the Chiefs out of the AFCCG at home, it was really half assed... much like most of the half baked conspiracy theories here.
