It's just the way Andy does it.

Hopefully he can get some reps, but if he's getting 6/7 snaps a game from the beginning, it's fine.

I think it was Nut who mentioned Chiefs prioritize speed, power, and route running now for WR's.

Where's our one friend? The guy who said route running for WR's is overrated.

Glad the Chiefs scout said that and are now drafting better WR's because they take this into account more.

He also mentioned Royals as a prospect is ahead of Rice on route running if you compare to when Rice entered the NFL.

Chiefs 4th round pick 1 on 1 against the Bills 1st :)

Man that Hairston kid is really gonna look like something when he beats everyone down the field on special teams and blows right by the return man

It was not.

I actually kinda thought it was a funny comment when someone else offered it.

"Oh, you prioritize 3 of the 4 things that matter? With the 4th being 'hands' and NOBODY just takes that off the board..."

I read the statement and thought it was a big ol' nothingburger. I mean, what the hell else is there to look at with WRs? I guess height. So he tells us the Chiefs don't prioritize height.

Well no shit. I can read a roster. Y'all haven't prioritized height...ever.

Goodness.

If Hairston struggles that much with the physicality of Royals, he's going to have a hard time handling most NFL receivers out of the gate. Especially a big slot type like Rice.

If Buffalo took Hairston as a counter-punch to Xavier Worthy, KC will be able to counter that approach with guys like Royals and Rice.

Kiimo 04-29-2025 12:27 PM

Hairston prefers to overpower opponents who are much, much weaker than him

We didn't value route running as much in prior years:

See Mecole Hardman over Terry McLaurin

O.city 04-29-2025 01:00 PM

I do like the thickness he's got. Seems to be able to play thru contact, which is nice.

And that thickness at 4.41 will absolutely do. He has a pretty rare combination of mass and speed for the WR position.

Kiimo 04-29-2025 01:09 PM

And if it is true like someone posted earlier that his 4.4 is more like 4.3 range with a healthy ankle well now we're talking

.......... nobody's going to say it?.................

F*** it......

That's what she said

KingPriest2 04-29-2025 07:16 PM

I wasn’t her of him at first.

I didn’t want him in the 2nd or 3rd But 4th round was good

Anyone see what James Palmer said about this kid?

He had that foot injury but at the combine he was only 85-90% and still ran a 4.42. Palmer said that he was a 4.3 caliber runner hampered by this injury still while testing.

This is not helping my boner
