Yeah they very possibly could have lost the series tonight...all because of Mark Daigneault.

Yeah I didn't like the strategy either. You're up 3 with 15 seconds or whatever. Just play good perimeter D and if they hit a shot to tie, you still have a shot to win at the end. Playing the free throw exchange game is giving them too many opportunities to either get a miss at the line or get a steal. Bet he doesn't do that dumbass shit again.

I am absolutely fine with fouling up 3. But they were fouling...RIGHT when Denver touched the ball. With 13 seconda left. And then 11 seconds left from the full court. Awful.

The second of the fouls in the up 3 foul strategy they have Jokic on the bench and Denver had no timeouts. If there is a time to play it out for a while....especially when they have to go the length of the court. Its there!

He really shouldn't even shoot a 3 there. You are up 6. You don't want to shoot a lower percentage but high EFG shot. You want to take certainty there up 6 with that amount of time left.

You could see OKC just shrivel up down the stretch of that game with the lead, which are situations Jokic thrives in

I still think OKC is the better team but the margin of error for winning this series is now down to virtually nothing

If I had to bet on this series now I would bet on Denver. This game is almost worth virtually 2 games. You had huge rest. Denver just coming off a game 7. This is THEE must win game of the series. You are at home. This isn't even as bad as dropping game 2 even if it is at home.

Denver has like a 5.5 man team, that will add up as the series goes on.

That's precisely why OKC should have won. They refused to make Denver pay for their lack of bench. They didn't run nearly as much as they should have and settled for 3s an awful lot. I think it's going to be a really fun series.

Yeah, I didn't love that either.

Okc head coach lost them the game.

Unreal.

You dont foul down three...twice RIGHT when they get the ball. You let them run some time off and wait for a good opportunity. Then you dont sub guys in for rebounding if u only have one TO left because if Denver scores like they did you need one TO left to be able to advance the ball up to half court.

Just awful awful situational end game coaching by Dicknault.

The coach who got his team to the best record in NBA history is now making mistakes?

All the top teams lost a game so far and things shift. OKC should be able to come back but maybe they’ll be like Houston and let the experienced team get the best of them.

Unless the players fouled immediately on their own accord and called timeouts all on their own. Yes.

Lots of great coaches make mistakes.

SGA has such losers for teammates, same old shit with this team

Those legs just aren’t conditioned to be shooting big shots in the 4th quarter. Gonna be a long series for them without anyone to guard Jokic. I don’t think Dort is big enough to cheap shot Jokic out of this series.

Pablo 05-06-2025 09:23 AM

OKCHOKERS

What a dumbass coach, that's not a championship caliber org.

So you are saying they are far from this greatest team ever then? I mean if a 39 year old dude has to carry you......

SGA’s teammates (outside of maybe Caruso) are a bunch of losers. No question in my mind they try to trade for Giannis in the offseason.
