This team is so far away...I know there are a few accounts out there claiming the Royals are close but the truth is they are further away now than they were when last season ended.

Outside about a 3-4 year stretch over the last 25 years The R's continue to be one of the worst Franchises in Baseball. When they are bad, they are just shit stained bad.

At this point you have to question if Sherman even cares, they fired Moore and basically kept everyone else other than the manager and pitching coach...

You can't get these results and think that scouting and development is fine.

Really depends just how much Sherman believes Moore was meddling in everything. Picollo has to be on a short rope, but this upcoming draft will really be his first without interference from Dayton Moore. It will be interesting to see how the draft might differ from years past.
