Bronco fans are the thinnest skinned but Raider fans are just purely delusional (except for MarkDavis’Haircut, I like that guy).

Copium is cheaper than alcohol.

AP also fooled the macho man part of the fan base when anyone with critical thinking recognized his "success" was purely due to interim magic. I took a lot of slings and arrows at BlackReign for saying that.

I learned my lesson after 2022 when McDoofus somehow blew 17+ point leads every week and squandered the best offensive talent collection we had since 2002.

I expect 8-9 this year and fans acting like Brady changed the culture. Nothing will change until Mark dies or a franchise quarterback is drafted.

I think they’re finally doing it the right way. Don’t reach for a quarterback you’re not positive is the real deal, especially with the lack of depth. Build the team while you wait for the quarterback you’re more confident in. Dont rush the rebuild, Vegas wasn’t a couple players away from competing. IMO they are improved this year. It’s amazing how long they’ve hired incompetent coaches. Pete is a good coach, and players love playing for him. They’re stacking offensive weapons in preparation for taking a quarterback next draft.

Brady aside, it appears for the first time in a couple of decades that the team is being run by adults. I have no idea how much input Brady has or had but if Mark stays hands off and lets Spytek and company cook, there certainly appears to be a change in how things are being done. At the moment it's only a hunch mixed with a dash of hopium but Im looking forward to see how this bunch plays out.

Fans were praising Mayock after the 2019 draft.

One year later, the bonfires were lit.

Right now the team is barely improved from last year. Carroll and Geno are ancient stopgaps. The yearly hopium always arrives. Two years ago, Jimmy G is a winner was the last. Last year, Minshew Mania was the cry.

Maybe Brady's college buddy at GM is the answer. McDaniels' college buddy wasn't.

You can’t lock all Raider fans in a single package. Crap, I remember some fools believing Carr was still the MVP after a decade of mediocrity. ;)

Spytek and Carrol are the best the Raiders have had in awhile. Time will tell. There is a difference between Carrol and McDouche. One has won everywhere he goes and the other has lost everywhere he went

I think it’s been so long since you’ve had an even mediocre coach, that you’re severely underestimating Pete and the coaching staff he brought in. And I also like Chip Kelly as OC, shit HC though. Your coaching hires since Gruden have been atrocious. I hope you’re the correct one in this, but I think you’re so used to the way things have been, that you’re not realizing the glaring difference. Or maybe you just don’t want to be hurt again. But I think they’re finally trending up.

The Raiders hiring Pete is like the Chiefs hiring Andy.

Hell even the Chargers hiring Jim made a difference.

Still suspect on Sean though but they had a decent year for a rookie QB.

Pete is going to bring stability and consistency. He can make the Raiders a .500 team year in and year out.

What remains to be seen is whether or not he can get the QB. Like Andy in KC, he's going to struggle to get past perpetual mediocrity if he doesn't hit on a franchise QB.

WTH football talk? :)

I'm not certain what to expect, but I'm quite intrigued by Geno Smith and how he will work out for the Raiders. Has some Gannon vibes about it and that worked out really well for us.

Chip Kelly already ruining every good thing he touches

Fans said the same thing about Jimmy G and Minshew.

Let's get off the next Gannon train and find a QB who wasn't propped up by two Hall of Fame WRs.

Geno is a stopgap in a division with three franchise QBs.

Chip hasn't done anything since leaving Oregon except ride a stacked Ohio State squad to a title and now he wants to mess with a successful style.

Don't draft a RB at #6, then.

Let Jeanty be.

Maybe Chip is still mad about the 19-8 loss to Boise.

The problem with Carroll and Geno is that they will improve LV, but not by enough to get over the hump. Pete’s a very good coach, but Geno isn’t a QB you make or win SBs with. But he is good at keeping them out of the race for a potential QBOTF. Not saying that they can’t find one later in the first round or draft, just that the odds drop a ton.

Two and a possible. Not sure Nix is in franchise QB land yet.
