And then we find out that the football gods are dyslexic.

The Rams went 13-3.

The Chiefs will go 3-13.

Rams had a very good defense
Chiefs not so much

Rams had HOF LT
Chiefs second year guy

Rams Veteran NFL Head Coach
Chiefs first time ever NFL Coach

Rams deep at WR
Chiefs lose starter in Pre Season and he averaged less than a catch per game last season

Rams had NFL MVP Running Back
Chiefs have a Pro Bowl drink thrower at Running Back

I'm Zapruder, and I approve this post.

The 1999 Rams threated to revolt against their hard ass coach for tough practices.

Never, EVER underestimate the amount of people who will, on average, "miss the point".

Fun post, Rain Man.

Also, both teams play professional football.

In this same line of thinking... the Lions went 4-0 in the preseason and then never won a regular season game. If the Chiefs can lose the last game, then clearly, they won't lose a regular season game.

Wow... it is going to be a GREAT season!

Yeah do you remember the year the Chargers went 4-0 in pre season under Ryan Leaf? They were handing out ass kickings left and right. We were the only team they beat that year in the regular season.:banghead::D

You are off your game, omitting these facts.

1999 Rams were a part of the NFL
2009 Chiefs were a part of the NFL

1999 Rams stadium had overpriced food
2009 Chiefs stadium has overpriced food

Just a heads up, but you may want to remove the Swastika from that avitar. It may be offensive to some...

Well, I guess we can add "Both teams had new offensive coordinators" to the list.

In 1999, the Rams invested a high-round draft choice in a veteran quarterback who had been a backup for another team (Trent Green).

In 2009, the Chief invested a high-round draft choice in a veteran quarterback who had been a backup for another team (Matt Cassel)

In the third preseason game of 1999, the Rams' new quarterback was injured.

In the third preseason game of 2009, the Chiefs' new quarterback was injured (albeit not seriously).

The Rams quarterback had a left knee injury.

The Chiefs quarterback had a left knee injury.

Here's another fact: Trent Green held a Q&A session in Fan Zone at Gate H right before the 3rd preseason game Saturday. I was there, and one of his answers was explaining the adversity he went through after his knee injury

There will be similarities in win/loss record. Rams went 13-3 and KC will go 3-13 this year. Very similar.
