Taco John 01-22-2006 12:01 AM

for what it's worth... I'd LOVE to hear about any Chiefs fan who I've gotten to know here and their experience at an AFC Championship game. If you've got any stories, please, share them.

The Seniorita isn't making the trip. She's not that interested in cheering in a cold environment... Once October passes, she's pretty much not into going to games...

But because it's my Birthday this month (The Taco John Lounge... come on, say it), she let me get away... Though, she lets me get away when I want. We're good with eachother like that.

I hope everyone has their AK-Fortyshitters set on full auto tomorrow in this thread. It's going to be hilarious if Denver loses. ROFL

Perhaps. Win or lose, I feel good about our season. My stated goal since April is one playoff win to build from. We've gotten that. Next year I expect a Superbowl. If we win one this year, it'll be a treat, but it's not an expectation from my end.

I attended the 1994 game.....I know, I know....twas so long ago, I'm sure you will remind us.

My most pleasant memory in Buffalo? A Bronco fan was pushed off of the top of Rich Stadium for being obnoxious and stupid....sadly though, he survived.

The colder the weather, the hotter the fans get. Nothing more fun than having your feet go numb while watching the Chiefs beat the Broncos in December. :)

You know, it never ceases to amaze me how civil the Planet is to people like Taco John. This is a Chiefs bulletin board. Yet we continue to allow ourselves to be subjected to his garbage.

I have nothing against the Broncos. What I do have a problem with is the dishonest and the cheating atmosphere that makes up the the Denver Bronco culture.

Cut blocks. They ruin careers, but they are nurtured and encouraged in Denver.

And do you really think Shanarat didn't know during the playoff game in KC that his offensive linemen had covered their jerseys in Vaseline.

It's a culture of win at all cost - including not giving a damn if they ruin careers by going at the knees as well as cheating a la the Vaseline incident.

All of that is taught and encouraged. Frankly, I've been a Chiefs fan since they were the Dallas Texans. But if they ever hired anyone with the ethics and morals of a Shanarat, I'd have to find a different team.

The Taco Johns of the world don't care to acknowledge that as long as they win. And they come over to a bulletin board and talk smack. When frankly, the rest of us should feel like taking a shower.

I guess we can be Christian and turn the other cheek. I'd just as soon show them one of mine and tell Taco John and his ilk to bite mine.

Or at least take a shot at my knees.

One project at a time... I've got her signed up for snowboard lessons... One down... and we're switching to skiing... Two more lessons... I hope she makes both of them...

I love her to death, but she's such a chicken. Drives me nuts. I have to drag her on rollercoasters. She loves being on them and has fun, but getting her actually on them is a pain. I'm hoping that's the same thing with skiing, and she enjoys it once we're up there and doing it.

I enjoyed boarding much more than Skiing.

Anyone who says learning to board is harder is FOS. You fall on your azz more, but it's easier to learn and you have a lot more fun.

I haven't seen it, but it's playing in Springfield. Even had a story about it on the news tonight. Isn't that the same guy that plays in Donnie Darko? I can't believe Heath Ledger starred in it.

I think the Broncos will win today, the atmosphere at Invesco is tough. Jake Plummer is a tad shaky under pressure though. The steelers will definitely give up a good fight, should be a great game.

Again...If KC got to the AFC Championship game, and played like that...I would rather have them not go at all.

Has to leave a sour taste in Denver fans mouth. It wasn't even a game from start to finish. It's tough, especially when you get bent over like that on your home field.

I totally disagree and I think any "real" fan would want their team to play the AFC Championship at home. Even if they lost I would still want that opportunity, that 1 game at home to go to the SB. To say otherwise is just plain stupid.

I don't get this. What is the downside of hosting the AFC Championship at home? So what if you lose. You get 1 chance, 1 game to go to the SB would you rather play the game on the road or at home?
