Actually I have. Which is why I hate the outfield experience. Rather than watching the game I have to sit back there and keep an eye on the kiddos playing since they'd much rather play on the jungle gym than watch the game. I didn't buy the tickets so I could watch my kids on the freaking jungle gym.

Yep, no evidence on Escobars hitting in 6 or 7 MLB seasons.

Oh, there's evidence alright: that Escobar has had a terrible career at the plate. 73 OPS+ vs 76 for Angel Berroa. Let that sink in.

538 predicts 83.3 wins for the Royals, with a standard deviation of 3.9. That means they think we have roughly a 2/3 chance of winning between 79 and 87 games, and a 95.5% chance of winning between roughly 75 and 91 games. (so, a 4.5% chance of falling out of the range and being either super-crappy or really awesome.)

Goodbye Dayton and Ned!

If only Yost had managed the weather better, we might have actually gotten to see Holland close a game for us today.

I think he should've pinch hit the Sun in for the Rain, might've had better results.

We don't know how they're trending yet.

Bonifacio tearing it up early on.

Quote:

Emilio Bonifacio went 2 for 4 and scored twice to continue his torrid start. The Chicago center fielder hit 11 for 16 (.688) during the opening three-game series. He is just the third player in history to record 11 hits in the first three games of the season, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.

We paid $32m when an adequate option was available in house. Dayton makes a lot of peculiar decisions running a tiny market club

I'm having baseball withdrawls again. What time is the game tomorrow? I need a fix.
