Everyone arguing he didn't have talent, that may be true, but not having any talent doesn't make you throw pick after pick after pick right to defenders. Nice try losers.

Im done arguing this point with you. :thumb:

You'd rather have cassel on the basis of a 5 year contract Orton will never see the end of. Yeah, I get it.

No, id rather have orton... BUT he wouldnt sign here because he got 6m to hold a clipboard in 2012.

Chiefnj2 03-17-2012 08:49 PM

Other bringing Palko back they couldn't have signed a worse backup QB.

You may be right but I hope not.

With Pioli signing Quinn he is just making sure he doesn't provide any competition for Cassel because that Orton stint was too scary for Pioli. Pioli knew if he did re-sign Orton with actual time in mini-camps and TC to develop some real chemistry with a helluva a lot better arm that he would beat out Cassel as starter. And no way in hell that was going to happen.

Now with Winston here and Hudson moving to center Cassel will now be able to perform in Pioli's mind:rolleyes:

carlos3652 03-17-2012 08:52 PM

You guys realize that Orton in 2012 is getting paid more than Cassel to be a Back Up in Dallas????

I said maybe twice. I already accepted he's been a backup. But to call for stanzi over cassel based on stanzi getting a chance, means giving brady a chance for the same reasons......

What a load of absolute bullshit. He would have had a chance to START in KC. Of course, by signing this piece of shit, this team has made clear that's not what they want in a backup QB.

Right, maybe you should question Orton's choices... Not the chiefs wanting to sign him?

Why? Please explain to me, why backing up Tony Romo for 6m in 2012 makes KC look bad...

He took more money, with 0 risk/stress.
