MH Mania...you couldn't be more wrong. I've always been a huge Cutler fan...I'd take him over Rivers any day of the week. I was also his biggest defender around here when the problems broke out between him and JMc. I didn't like the way he played it, but Josh came in and screwed the pooch with a Pro Bowl QB. Just plain stupid!

whoooaaa Sally. It isn't Chiefs fans showing up to a donkey board...by the way, we think you might be a closet Chiefs fan.

Saying that Cutler only had one good drive is kind of funny considering dude played how many minutes total?

Cutler isn't at Manning or Brady's level, but he's clearly in that next tier below that. Of the young QBs out there, I think he and Ryan have the most upside right now.

Get used to swing passes and screens with Orton. Dude can't hit the long outs and several other down field NFL routes. It is what it is. If that's good enough to make Denver successful on offense, great for you guys. I'm not buying it, however.
BTW, tell Knowshon to suck it up...I have him on my fantasy team! :)

Same thing will happen to Orton in Denver that happened in Chicago. Teams will see he can't make the down field pass so they will start game planning to take away the short game.

It is amazing how much the Chicago offense looked like the Denver 2008 offense and how the Denver offense looked like 2008 Chicago offense.

So, did you guys just fire your Offensive Coordinator week three of the preseason?

Yep. Pretty much.

but don't even mention that Orton could have been picked a couple of times.

You are so blind and set in your ways, I believe that's why everyone hates you and wouldn't piss on your offspring if they were on fire.

Just wait until SD wins the division with 8 wins again. This entire division is an embarassment.

SD will have more wins than 8 this season. I think Rivers will have a great year.

I'm choosing SD vs GB in Super Bowl.

It's crazy, because I remember not too long ago when the AFC West was one of the strongest in the NFL.

Gotta love that 7-8 yds per pass play. Screens can easily be thrown by babies.

bubble screen left....bubble screen right....bubble screen left....

It wasn't a great game for Denver by any means, but they're missing a few players right now (Marshall is suspended, Moreno is hurt, Gaffney is hurt). Those first two are huge and they were rolling with the likes of Buckhalter.

The one drive was great for CHI, aside from that - they weren't moving the ball much on offense. Granted, it was a great drive... won't take anything from it.

Well it's one more reason than Bronco fans have.

It doesn't matter how vanilla it is, they still have to make plays. I'm guessing Chicago played vanilla too ...

Mile High Mania 08-31-2009 02:13 PM

Someone posted on another site a rumor that was connecting Marshall with a trade to Green Bay for Driver and another player, but the hangup was GB didn't want to give him big $ right now.

I have no idea if this guy was just posting BS or not... but, that would be interesting for the Packers.
