Marilyn Monroe was a complete emotional train wreck and a complete pig. Stories abound of people coming to visit her and she would eat in bed and food crumbs and dishes left everywhere. She was not very sanitary and definitely had horrible issues with men.

No shock she OD'ed.

Right. My parenthetical indicated that I didn't necessarily believe that his deification is justified, but it does exist... and is one of the few politicians of the modern era to have it.
