I know exactly what I'm talking about.

Either you have one of the best six to eight quarterbacks in the league or you're an also-ran that doesn't have a chance in hell of winning a Super Bowl because there's going to be a good chance there's a better QB will be on the other side of the bracket.

The AFC will be the Andrew Luck show in the next four seasons. The Colts will skull**** a punchless AFC South to a #2 or #1 seed year in and year out as long as he's healthy. It'll be him and Brady battling it out in the conference final until Brady retires with the occasional appearance by a Flacco or Roethlisberger until the latter retires.

On the other side it'll be Rodgers and Wilson with maybe an odd appearance of Eli in the years when they catch the NFC East without legit opposition.

Is Rivers good enough to carry the Chargers to the AFC finals? Nope. Tannehill? Can't do enough to overcome Brady. What's Andy Dalton's playoff record again?

Can Romo beat Rodgers? Can Stafford beat Rodgers? Can either of those guys take down the 'hawks if their defense is on point like it's shown the capability of being? Can Brees do anything without a bounty-hunting mentality defense?

You've done nothing to counter my point that it's truly a six quarterback league, and everyone else are just glorified exhibition games for guys like Brady and Rodgers.

Romo should've beat Rodgers. And Flacco is not a top 8 NFL QB

He should have? And Rodgers should've beat Wilson? And Wilson should've beat Bready? And Flacco should've beat Brady?

Yeah, no. The Bryant catch was not, in fact, a catch.

Eh, yeah, probably not quite. The Elite 3 (assuming Manning is healthy, which can't really be safely assumed). Then you've got a next tier which is Ben, Brees, Romo, Rivers, Wilson in some order. Then right below that is the next grouping, which includes Flacco. So he's not quite top 25%, but certainly top half.

I'll fight about Flacco until death. I'd honestly take Alex Smith over Flacco. Well, a coin flip, honestly.

Apparently that metal fixture didn't knock any sense into you.

Flacco >>>>>>> Alice Smith any day of the week.
Flacco >>>>>>> Fivehead in the playoffs.

this is like a year in and year out thing with the Ravens

That's still preferable to blowing your load in the regular season like your mancrush does.

I have an idea:

Let's talk about how awesome Joe Flacco is compared to Alex Smith, and how his post-season play clearly puts him above Peyton Manning.

Discuss!

There are some who think rolling back on the equipment would stop players from treating their helmets as missiles. It's an interesting theory that less equipment could improve the safety of the game.

Yet the data from rugby suggests that's not the case.
