Rosenhaus did his job there as well as any agent ever has. That's all you can ask of him. |

I remember the days when the punter was our MVP.
Not fondly, though. |

So what is the story here? Pretty, rich, sorority girl gets hammered and agrees to a gang bang with a handful of dudes only to wake up extremely embarrassed and petrified her reputation is ruined?

Charges dropped is charges dropped
Unless signed by Denver. Guilty no matter what at that point. |

if there is a PR hit on this then that just shows how people cannot have a new opinion with new information because he was completely exonerated. I imagine Tommy will be one of the higher paid punters in the league and that's not something the Chiefs want to pay. If he still has his game then this is a great signing.
|
There is still time for submitting punting rule changes. Before the dildo charging stations are approved for the new stadium
|
On a serious note, does anyone know if he has ever been a place-kicker holder before?
I know there were growing pains with Butker when Tommy took over for Colquitt (according to a drunk tweet rage by Colquitt, anyways). Curious what this signing does for our placekicking game. |

The backup QB did it for eons
|
WOW, this is solid. I loved TT but Veach just upgraded the position. I was begging for Veach to draft this guy and when he went to Buffalo I was pissed. WoW , just WOW. God damn Veach is good! Talk about flipping a field, punting from our own 5 ,he'll pin the opponent at their 5.
We need to upgrade our gunners now to keep up. LOL |
|
Justin Reid, you have been replaced…

Justin Reid's emergency kicking days are all but over with Matt Araiza coming to town.
Not only can the dude punt that thing, he can be a placekicker if needed. Who cares if he can’t hold? Make the backup QB holding kicks great again.
|
Didn’t Colquitt initially have issues with holding his rookie year and then finally fixed that problem once and for all?

Killer signing.

Because odds are that Araiza will be the primary. |
Chiefs Kingdom is a good environment for this guy.
The young ladies here in the heartland are chaste or discreet and Harrison Butker will find him a nice girl to settle down with. |
Veach out here playing 4D chess two weeks after a Super Bowl win while the rest of the league is on hiatus. You love to see it.

Unless it's Gabbert. DO... NOT... LIKE! |
So because Araiza was cut, that doesn't count against our comp pick formula.
Which means it's entirely possible if Tommy makes a top 5 punter salary and we stay somewhat quiet in free agency that he earns us a 7th rounder next year LMAO |

Araiza is out and somebody has to hold for Buttkivker. Buttkicker is out and somebody is holding for Araiza. So the backup holder has their work cut out for them. Still awesome that he was the FG kicker in college. |
You can tune into the latest Only Weird Games if you want to hear Josh Brisco and Nate Taylor get on their bitchy pedestals like they always do whenever something like this occurs.
My God they can be annoying. God forbid either one of them ever get accused of something they didn’t do. No mercy. |
Shame it took so long for him to get a job, from what I understand from that sorry ass backstory...
But hopefully it works out. |

"Yeah, I'm not going to get into the details of the allegations, I'll just go chronologically..." Wait...what? That's what we call burying the lede, big guy. Going through something chronologically and leading with "He was accused of gang rape" and hand-waiving the fact that he was actually exonerated by the district attorney is just awful. Maybe lead with that. "He wasn't at the party anymore..." is pretty goddamn critical. Primacy and recency is a real thing; people remember the first and last things they hear. To sit here and act like there's ANY value to going through it chronologically is asinine. |
God, zilla. Stuff a tampon in it.
When we were trying to run it back after LIV, we cut the steady vet Colquitt and put our punting and holding duties in the contested hands of some miserable rookie free agent puke. Were you concerned back then, or were you glad to no longer be paying that kind of money for our punter? After all, that was working just fine too, and there Veach was being a hot shot and messing with formula that was so effective! It's almost as if we have coaches and professionals on staff who know all about this kind of thing and have a demonstrated record of teaching and coaching it to multiple rookie and inexperienced punters in their long careers. |
Hell Yeah, while I'm happy to hear this news for our Chiefs, I'm even more happy that this dude was able to come back to the NFL after being robbed of his career over bogus allegations. That get cancelled now, ask questions later, and never issue an apology thing just reveals who is spineless and braindead. Glad this dude made a comeback from that, even more so, the Chiefs who made it right for him.

I have literally never learned anything of value in terms of football from him. He does nothing for me, just there to ask questions. I listen to that show because Nate sometimes has insider info, and Keysor can sometimes have an educational football take. But I knew better than to tap in today and did it anyways. |

I just hope it doesn't **** up the holds and timing for Butker.
|
SB LIV and LVII we leaned on offense. SB LVIII we leaned on defense. Now, to threepeat, we're gonna win it by punting them into submission.
|
Veach is just plain evil, he'll gut you for a nickel
Oh Tommy wants to ask for the moon now? I'll sign the Punt God for a pittance instead |
Hey, it's like a free draft pick.
Thanks Buffalo. |
I think Buffalo knows that their season is going to end when the Punt God pins them deep

The only evidence that could prove his guilt is if the Chiefs release him. |

Well, if you were in his shoes, which team in the NFL would you most want to sign with? And is it even close? Tie goes to the Chiefs in a situation like this. By far. So if his reps got some sense that the Chiefs had interest, I'd be shocked if this weren't what he was holding out for the last couple months. |

Just clarify - is the following correct?
- He DID have sex with her that night - She DID lie about her age but was technically a minor - He was NOT present for the alleged/debunked gang rape that took place later in the evening. Is that all correct? |

Sorry Tommy, the football biz is unrelenting.
Glad we're giving this kid a spot after all the BS. |
Poor dude will end up catching a rape charge, after he spends the next year raping the league kicking the **** out of the ball

This is just so funny. LMAO
Bills lose the Punt God to false accusations leading to their hated rival both stealing the Punt God and saving $4M in cap space at the same time. God truly must hate the Bills. |
For those crying.. we have what’s presumably the most expensive special teams coordinator in the league. And Townsend ****ed up the holding for awhile. He literally became nails after colquitt called his ass out. Trust the process. Teams with 500m qbs don’t pay ****ing punters end of story.

When he signed with Rosenhaus, he was gone. We are not paying top $ in the NFL to the punter. Some team will though.
Remember the unnecessary drama with Hill? Caused by the same agent? The Chiefs want no part of another drama like that over a punter. |
